Media Malfeasance? You be the Judge.
I can’t speak for others but I used to have at least some respect for the media. But they have gone downhill so fast they could probably qualify as a bobsled team at the Winter Olympics. When did bad manners become chic? This video on the surface demonstrates the depth to which they have sunk. Ok, granted, many news agencies like to do an interview with the event they are covering in the background. It’s a staged shot all of them have used in times past. But when asked, very politely I might add, to stop or step outside because it is disrupting and people who paid or choose to attend want to listen, to ignore them is just plain rude. But hey, they are the press right? So they should have unrestricted access so they can get the story, yes? And hey they are live so it’s cool. No – somebody needs to fire this uncouth, impudent little pissant to teach him a lesson of respect. But then again, maybe we need to just let it go. After all it was a crew from MSNBC and, well, they don’t really qualify as media anyway. And, we can’t expect them to understand journalistic integrity now can we? (Hat tip to Anarchy for this)
