The LHC at CERN in Switzerland is in stand-by mode here at the start of 2010. Experiments will begin again next month (Feb 2010) and ramp up until the beams inside reach a speed of 3.5 TeV (teraelectronvolt – a million million electronvolts)¹ and collisions can be made at 7 TeV for the start of their research program. This is the point when some say the potential for problems could emerge, like they could create mini black holes. After all, they are seeking to simulate and investigate quark–gluon plasma which existed in the early universe². The Big Bang, remember? Ok but should we care?

I don’t know what to say here other than I am not surprised. I have been predicting this for a long time. But it just gives me the willy’s that it may come from BHO, at this time in our history, at this hour, in this season.

The leaves I hear in the north are beginning to turn, it’s dark in the morning when my alarm goes off, Texas hasn’t seen a day above 85 in weeks. Hmmm, it must be fall. Ahhh fall, prelude to the holidays and harvest festivals, new TV shows, the Texas State Fair, cloudy and rainy days. Sounds like the perfect time for the flu.

Remember last summers media blitz scare about the coming swine flu, er I mean H1N1? For some time there have been discussions about the pandemic implications and the efficacy of the vaccines. There are numerous conflicting and opposing viewpoints. That alone should send up a few flags. I posted about it here and here under my Tinfoil Hat Stuff. Well here we are at the time they warned us about and the vaccine is just now arriving in some places. The controversy however has not abated and today there is an article I feel is a must read for everyone.

Writing for The Atlantic, in the November 2009 issue, Shannon Browlee¹ and Jeanne Lenzer² voice the comment Does The Vaccine Matter? According to them there are flaws in the research regarding claims of reduced mortality credited to vaccines. They cite numerous examples where changes in the patterns of vaccine distribution did not precipitate the expected change in mortality rate. They go into some depth describing the biased opinions of established health care experts who tend to be pro-vaccine to begin with. Their resistance to promote placebo-controlled trials is deeply concerning even in the face of the ethical questions related to such trials in a population group that is recommended to have the vaccine. But that is the only sure way to get the data necessary to address the overall question of does it matter?

I’m not going to espouse any opinion either pro or con regarding what anyone should or should not do. My purpose here is to provide you the same information I am seeing so you can make a decision for yourself, your kids, your parents, you circle of influence. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT DISREGARD everything as trivial and kooky. Read all that you can from both sides.Then you can make a decision you are willing to stand by and defend. Now THIS is scary. Leave it to a blue state to erode your rights and liberty. If it passes in the Massachusetts House, the authority to enact its provisions rests with the Governor. A challenge to its legality could take months in the courts and by then it could be to late. Sounds like time for free and liberty loving citizens to start sending letters to your Representatives and the Governor, NOW!
Cops jump on swine-flu power: Shots heard ’round the world.

The swine flu vaccination program lurking around the corner has some very sinister undertones. Are you aware the WHO has in place the necessary authority in this country to suspend your Constitutional rights and force you to take the shot? Yes, the one that has already been publicly linked to 25 deaths? I say publicly because we don’t know how many there actually have been do we? Read details here.
