  • Tea Party Test Run – Texas Votes for a New Governor

Posted on February 28th, 2010 Arachnid No comments

Tuesday, March 2 is primary day in Texas. The most closely watched race is that of the Republican nomination for Governor. Incumbent Rick Perry faces his most audacious challenge yet from not one but two women. Kay Bailey-Hutcheson, a currently seated US Senator from Texas and Deborah Medina, a nurse. Why is this even close? Medina represents the people, a non-politician along the lines of the Tea Party movement and Blowout Congress.com. Her climb in the polls has many observers believing she could displace Kay Bailey, the earmark diva of the US Senate, and force a runoff with Rick Perry. It is this editors opinion that is what will happen and Arachnids Web boldly predicts her ultimate victory to become the next Governor of Texas come November. On Tuesday – Vote Deborah Medina.

    U P D A T E – 3/3/10

Ok so I’m no psychic nor a political pundit. Deborah only managed 18% and Perry gets another shot at being Governor. Not what I wanted but I’m not ready to turn Texas over the the Left quite yet. So we prep now for Round Two in November.

Andrew Breitbart rocks. If you are not following his three sites every day you are missing the details of key battles raging all around us. Big Hollywood, Big Journalism and Big Government are lighthouses penetrating the insanity that abounds from the left. He is calling them out leaving no stone unturned. He also is not pulling punches. His commentaries go for the jugular and makes them own up to the drivel they spout as gospel on a daily basis. Make sure you check out the links related to the recent C-PAC meeting last week. Andrew took full advantage of the bully pulpit he was given.

I have spoken to close friends and family about this late last year and was not taken seriously. Ok, I was a little on the early side. I wonder what everyone thinks now. Buy gold and silver and DO NOT put it in a safe-deposit box. Oh, and stock-pile food and water and ammo. I’m just sayin….

The element that defines our very lives has been discovered. It’s called Governmentium. Here is the scientific definition:

“…Governmentium (Gv) has one neuron, 25 assistant neurons, 85 deputy neurons, and 198 assistant deputy neurons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.

A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second to from four days to four years to complete. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2-6 years, it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neurons and deputy neurons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium’s mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neurons, forming isadopes.

This characteristic of moron promotion suggests that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass. When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administration, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons…….”

I have been a bit quiet on my blog lately. Nothing specific, I just got bored of all the negative rhetoric, Palin attacks, tea-bagger comments and general bad behavior coming from the left. But I decided this AM that silence is what they want. Complacent acceptance is their goal. Well, like many others in the country today I will not go quietly into the night. There is to much at stake. Besides I still have a lot to say regardless of whether or not anyone is listening (reading).

There is a documentary film that has been produced about the tea party movement.  Big Hollywood has the trailer and a write up. There are many lefties out there that need to see this so they will stop using an inappropriate sex term to describe this movement of righteous Americans who are fed up with the slop we are being fed by Congress and the MSM.  Notice I did not say anything about political affiliation. This is not left vs right, Dem vs Rep but it is the left and the Dems that have it wrong. This is about America and trying to save it before it is to late.

Looks like they got it right (finally). This morning there was just a slight red tinge around the borders of the old blue bastion of Democracy known as Massachusetts. The Senate seat that belongs to the people was returned to them and the Kennedy dynasty has ended – 40 years to late. Scott Brown can now add a little parenthesis behind his name – (R-Mass). But the Dem’s didn’t wait until the ink was dry on the ballots. No, they started the accusations the day before.

Coakley’s crew alleged voting improprieties and possible fraud. One problem – they made the charge before the balloting even started. Just what are these clowns thinking? Breitbart’s Big Government blog has the article. I guess desperation can make people do funny things. Fortunately, the Sec. of State dismissed the claim here.

So why do liberals get all emotional over a lost election? They whined endlessly in 2000 and NEVER relented on Bush who stole their victory from Al “The Internet” Gore. No, they slammed him, ridiculed him, denounced him, mocked him, cursed him. They disrespected the office of the President for 8 years and now get their shorts in a tizzy anytime anyone questions BHO’s eligibility. So today they turned on each other. Fitting for vultures and hyenas don’t you think? Read it here.

Massachusetts, that small, east coast, totally blue haven of liberal politics just might have a surprise in store. The special election on January 19 will fill the vacancy left in the US Senate when Ted Kennedy died last year. The participants met last night, Jan 11, in a debate. Watch this key commentary for yourself.

Back on Sept 22 I posted commentary on this here (also here and here). You’ll remember the situation, the now deceased Ted kennedy, Senator, drunk, unindicted murderer, lobbied the state legislature to change the law preventing the sitting governor (R-Mitt Romney) from appointing a replacement for the potential open Senatorial seat of John Kerry. Kennedy demanded the right of the people of Massachusetts to choose by a public vote. So they pushed through the legislation. Unfortunately for them Kerry didn’t win and there was no opening – until Kennedy died.

Just before his death he again lobbied the state legislature to change the law. This time, lest some radical right-wing grassroots movement secure the actual will of the people and elect a Republican and jeopardize the pending healthcare bill, Kennedy wanted to take away that previous precious right of the citizenry to elect their choice and restore the ability of the (now Democrat) governor to make the appointment. Oh, by the way, Kennedy’s personal choice for his replacement was his wife. After all, it was Kennedy’s seat. The Massachusetts legislature stepped up and didn’t completely cave to the Kennedy mystique. They agreed and restored the governors right to appoint Kennedy’s successor but only until a special election could be held. Paul G. Kirk was named on September 24 to fill the vacancy. His resume leans just a little left and is tilted slightly Kennedy:

    From 1985 – 1989
    - Chairman of the Democratic National Committee
    - Co-Chair of the Commission on Presidential Debates
    - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation
    - Member of the Board of Directors of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate

Fortunately his term expires on January 18, 2010. Happy Birthday Paul.

I’m not a journalist. I never studied journalism. But I can read and write and have ethics. From what I have seen in the last several years I have serious doubts about what is being taught in our universities on the subject. Although, now that I think about it, journalism is usually classified as a liberal arts degree1 so that explains a lot. It just seems they have all forgotten the first tenet – “Journalism’s first obligation is to the truth”.2 But then maybe they never read Kovach3. I have posted several commentaries on the shortcomings of what we call the Main Stream Media (MSM) here, here, here and here. In my opinion there is not enough public commentary on the disgusting state of affairs in today’s MSM. The Founding Fathers considered them a vital part of our society. They even gave them Constitutional protection to secure their role in our republic. But in 2008 they violated our trust and abrogated their responsibility. Well enough is enough. A new watchdog has arrived on the scene. If you thought the expose on ACORN was an eye opener, just wait until they sink their teeth into the MSM. Read the rest of this entry »

The LHC at CERN in Switzerland is in stand-by mode here at the start of 2010. Experiments will begin again next month (Feb 2010) and ramp up until the beams inside reach a speed of 3.5 TeV (teraelectronvolt – a million million electronvolts)1 and collisions can be made at 7 TeV for the start of their research program. This is the point when some say the potential for problems could emerge, like they could create mini black holes. After all, they are seeking to simulate and investigate quark–gluon plasma which existed in the early universe2. The Big Bang, remember? Ok but should we care?

  • NPR- Serving Media Bias for the Left-Wing

Posted on January 6th, 2010 Arachnid 2 comments

Well here is another candidate for my Boycott List. NPR – National Public Radio. It’s no secret this is a left-wing media outlet but I won’t stoop to calling names like they did in this hit piece. They obviously don’t understand and cannot comprehend what the whole tea party movement is about. It’s tea party not tea bagging. The left in their insidious stupidity has latched onto that slang term and fixed that label to anything related to the protests from conservatives. They cannot fathom the similarities between the event in Boston in 1773 and today’s protests over bad policies from government being forced upon us. We don’t have representation anymore in Congress. They stopped listening long ago unless you have a lot of cash you don’t know what to do with. But they better start listening. Or they will be gone.

  • Health Care and Abortions

Posted on December 31st, 2009 Arachnid No comments

Up front I will tell you I am Pro-Life. I do not believe abortion is justified to eliminate an inconvenience to anyone’s life. Are there conditions that may warrant having one? Yes but I’ll not debate them here. So, if you are a practicing member of any Judeo-Christian based religious organization or if you personally confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe the bible is the inerrant Word of God, how are you going to react to the health care legislation that is about to pass when you realize a part of your insurance premium dollars will be used to pay for abortions? Section 213, page 96, line 16 under Insurance Rating Rules. Premiums will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account – and from this account federal funds will be used to pay for abortion services. Here it is from the horses mouth (pun intended):

Up until now we could possibly justify that as an individual we don’t directly support or pay for abortions. Yes, tax dollars are used but not specifically yours or mine. No more. Now the blood of these innocent lives will be on all our hands and that blood will cry out to the God of Heaven. Can judgment be far behind?

nativity 2009 was not my best year. But that’s the great thing about time – it passes. And now we approach Christmas and the start of a whole New Year. My prayer for you is happiness, health and prosperity in 2010. I ask prayer of you as well for the same. I leave you with this: “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ, the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

  • A Look Into Our Future?

Posted on December 23rd, 2009 Arachnid No comments

It’s sad, really. Many people consider themselves to be Democrats without fully understanding the party’s, platform, beliefs, agenda, motivations or even who is running things behind the scenes. And I will be honest and balanced. Many Republicans are the same way. The difference, IMHO, is the Republican party is most closely aligned with conservative principles. The Democrats are now days called Progressives but they are really just statist’s. Yes, their philosophy is described as liberalism but the driving force behind all they say and do is statism.

A satist believes “that sovereignty is vested not in the people but in the national state, and that all individuals and associations exist only to enhance the power, the prestige, and the well-being of the state. The fascist concept of statism, which as seen as synonymous with the concept of nation, and corporatism repudiates individualism and exalts the nation as an organic body headed by the Supreme Leader and nurtured by unity, force, and discipline.”1 So what, are they fascists too? You tell me. “The concept of fascism which goes so far as to “advocate the creation of a single-party state, with the belief that the majority is unsuited to govern itself through democracy and by reaffirming the benefits of inequality.”2 Sound familiar? It should. The current Obama administration and a majority of both houses of Congress are currently being run by this philosophy and its cousin, socialism.

Well they won the election didn’t they? Don’t get me started. No, it was a gift from their cronies in the MSM, the corrupt community organizers of ACORN, several unions and the uneducated populace. The price? The America we all know and love.

So what is their end game? Where will there policies and ideas and changes take us? Have a look.

There is no shortage of discussion across the internet about the current state of affairs in the US economy. The blogosphere is heavy with commentary, reports, assessments, warnings and yes even some positive spin regarding our out of control Congressional spending and the fate of the dollar in international markets. But this is America, yes? We’ll get through it. Will we? For a hint at what it could be like lend a few minutes to John Galt at Shenandoah. This is one of my favorite blogs and while I admit I don’t understand everything he posts about the technical aspect of what is happening in the banks and markets in the US and the world, he has a distinct way of getting his point across. This is fictional, or is it?

If you owe someone say billions of dollars you best behave as if you know it. Michelle Malkin takes it further with a show of how other world leaders behave. I don’t know about you but as an American it saddens me greatly to see the leader President of our country kowtow to anyone.

  • Larry David – Right Back At Ya, Jerk.

Posted on October 28th, 2009 Arachnid No comments

HBO’s long running comedy(?) series Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David recently stooped to a new but predictable low. I never watch the show so thanks to FoxNews for having the strength of character to document the disgusting episode. In a statement to FoxNews HBO said:

“Anyone who follows Curb Your Enthusiasm knows that the show is full of parody and satire. Larry David makes fun of everyone, most especially himself. The humor is always playful and certainly never malicious.”

I’m sorry, that just doesn’t cut it. What exactly would have happened if the picture was of say the prophet Mohammed? You and I know they would never even for a second have considered doing that. I wonder why. So what, Christians won’t riot in the streets or attack HBO HQ so they are fair game? The fact they are issuing a statement says they recognize an offense has been committed. This is just one more example of the depth of depravity achieved in our time by the so called arts. But it’s a cable channel and no one is forced to watch it and we don’t censor free speech! After all, it’s just parody. Fine, here is my parody of Larry David. Guess who/what has been added to my boycott list?
