The video below needs to be viewed by every American. Forget your party affiliation, we are losing our nation. If for one micro-second you think to yourself “that can’t happen here”, think again. It is already happening -and it going to get worse before it gets better. Try looking up Senate Bill S510 and tell me it can’t happen here. This bill will make it illegal to grow, share, trade, sell homegrown food. And they are already trying enforcing this and it’s not even a law yet. Read this. Don’t be naive and don’t be unprepared. They will eventually come for our guns. Do not think they won’t.

The election on Nov 2, 2010 MUST throw out the corrupt, elitist and complicit members of Congress that kowtow to the socialist left agenda and the proponents of the New World Order. Regardless of whether they are Democrat or Republican. Then in 2012, if we survive that long, and I have my doubts we will, we take back this country. No, I am not saying we turn it back to ANY party. We restore the Constitution of, by and for the people by electing qualified people. Not foreign born usurpers with an axe to grind.

Well, well, well. Once again the illustrious Mass legislature makes a mockery of our political system. Are these guys ever happy? It was bad enough prior to the 2000 election they didn’t want to risk letting a Republican Governor appoint a successor to John Kerry should he win the Presidency. No! That kind of action DEMANDED a vote of the people. That lasted until Kennedy died and they wanted their then Democrat Governor to APPOINT an interim replacement. Then the people couldn’t be left to make the right decision. So what happens when the next Presidential election has candidate X winning the popular vote and the Mass popular vote goes to candidate Y and they are compelled BY LAW to give all their votes to candidate X? You’ll hear their screams clear to the West Coast demanding a quick do-over.

Mass. Legislature approves plan to bypass Electoral College

I posted a comment yesterday on Facebook linking to a copy of the Declaration of Independence here. My wall post said it would be good for all Americans, regardless of their political leanings, to take time to read the remarkable document that gave birth to a nation. I got to thinking today about my post a few days ago here where I said we had a pretty good document with which to start over. I decided to make my own little 2010 update. Enjoy…

When in the Course of human events or periodically through the years, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another or been elected in a gross mistake by uninformed voters, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God (hint: there is no Allah or Mohammed yada-yada-yada in His name) entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We still hold these truths to be self-evident:
1.That BHO is a fraud, imposter, ursurper
2.That all men are created equal
3.That they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
4.That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,
5.That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes or unless it has gotten really bad; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed (like frogs in a pot of cold water). But when a long train of abuses and usurpations (can you say BHO?), pursuing invariably the same Object (can you say NWO?) evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government (Blow Out Congress, baby), and to provide new Guards for their future security.
Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies (aka STATES); and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter or reinstate their former Systems of Government without all the judicial activist crap that has passed for law in the last 234 years.

It was a good 234 years. A nice ride – while it lasted. Two years ago this coming July 4th I sat watching fireworks here in Texas and had an overwhelming sense it could be one of the last we see. I have not seen anything since that gives me much hope. In fact, it’s gotten worse.

America is dying. We are gasping for our last breath. Elements of our government consider “We The People” to be “We The Nuisance”; something to be tolerated but not relevant. Your see it and hear it every day in the speeches, bills, laws and attitude of many members of the government. Daily we are losing freedom and liberty to soft tyranny and oppression. Like frogs in a cold water pot we’ve acclimated as they’ve turned up the heat. Here is today’s example from the Constitutional Accountability Center. Haven’t seen or heard this in the MSM have you?

It’s sad, really. We were once a great country because of its people. The American spirit was tenacious, virile, compassionate. We WERE there for the world when we were needed and they never had to ask. Now we are disdained, slandered, ridiculed and despised. Is it any wonder our spirit is shattered? We’re broke and nearly bankrupt. Our President persists in apologizing to the world for us. He disrespects our traditions in favor of personal interests. He lies. His promises are void and empty. His word cannot be trusted. And I believe he mocks the Judeo-Christian God upon whom this country was founded (and if that bothers you – get out!). Blessings from God flow to the people through the leaders. Curses follow the same path. I seem to recall the bible has several examples of rulers who failed to govern according to God’s Word and direction. None ended well for the ruler or the people.

The only hope we have is there will come a large group of citizens who will rise up peacefully and lawfully to throw out the corrupt, inept thieves currently in power today and restore our country. Pray it happens soon because we don’t have much time. Personally, I’m not sure it should be saved. We may need to start over. We have a pretty good document as a base. It just needs a few 21st Century tweaks.

Gee, I wonder why investigative journalism didn’t pick this up? Oh, right.  I forgot- they took the year 2008 off on vacation.
